Our mission is to build the intellectual bridges between empirical knowledge and metaphysical vision of the Bhagavata Vedanta tradition as presented by Srila Prabhupada. The BIHS has been serving the Vaishnava community since 1976 with seminars, publications, conferences and dialogues. We are the official science advisors to the TOVP and technical advisors to ISKCON’s sustainability efforts. Our core mission is to engage devotee scholars (especially scientists and philosophers) in continuing the bridges begun by Srila Prabhupada in his first book: Easy Journey to Other Planets.

Where do your donations go?

Donations to the BIHS further our mission and allow us to engage devotee scholars from around the world. At our last major conference, 50 devotee PhD’s participated and many are anxious to serve yet need the assistance of the BIHS for travel to attend conferences and support for research. Your donations will be spent 100% on engaging devotee scholars in producing literature of significance to our mission.

• Corporate donations: Do you work for a company that matches your charitable contributions? Many of the large corporations do a matching funds program for their employees who make charitable contributions. You can go on the website of your company and see if they match. It’s simple to get your company to then match the donations you are making to BIHS Inc. You get the blessings of giving back to Krishna, then again for engaging others to give back to Krishna, and your company will gain some good karma too!! If you are employed by a major corporation, take a minute to see if they do matching funds for charitable giving.
