“Religion without philosophy is sentiment. And philosophy without religion is mental speculation. Yes. Two things must be combined.” – A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

Wednesdays, 6:00pm – 7:00pm ET
June 19 – August 28, 2024

Join us this summer to explore and discuss fundamental philosophical questions and ideas. Using A Little History of Philosophy by Nigel Warburton, we will gain insight into some of the world’s most influential thinkers from ancient to current times.

About the book (from inside cover):
“Warburton not only makes philosophy accessible, he offers inspiration to think, argue, reason, and ask in the tradition of Socrates. [The book] presents the grand sweep of humanity’s search for philosophical understanding and invites all to join in the discussion.”

This group is open to everyone, from the seasoned expert to the curious beginner. Come share your ideas and learn from others! Group facilitated by Lila devi dasi.

This is the first of an ongoing series.
